Happy Birthday, Shaylee!

I can not believe that I now have two children in double digits! Shaylee celebrated her 10th birthday weekend a little different than we have ever done before. Olivia had a basketball tournament in Idaho Falls and Dave had one here so we gave her the choice which one she wanted to go to. She chose to stay home with Dave and watch his games. She had so much fun! She let me know that they ate out the whole time, I didn't tell her that we did too :). She also got a fun surprise when Dave took her to Disney on Ice Saturday night as a surprise. She sent us a few texts to show us just how great their seats were, nine rows from the ice, and to show us what we were missing. Then Sunday when we were all home together again we had a little family party for her. We celebrated with her favorite dinner, steak and potatoes, and of course we had birthday cake and presents after. She received a new basketball, a basketball bag (that says ADIDAS, which she says means, "all day i dream about Shaylee"), a jewlery box, and a baby sling for her baby doll Zoey.
She is definitely the life of our family (taking a bit after Dave in the teasing part). We love her so much and are so proud of all that she does. I am constantly amazed at all the friends she has. I am also so proud of her for the kind heart that she has and isn't afraid to show that kindness to others. She is growing up so fast, growing "up" literally, and she is so beautiful on the inside and out.
Her favorite pasttimes include playing basketball, gymnastics, playing school, playing mommy to her Zoey doll, and being with her dad. Even though she loves to be outside and to play sports she is our girlie girl who loves shopping, dressing in designer clothes (which she has very few of), wearing perfume, jewelry, high heels, etc. She has lots of spice in her life. We love you forever Shaylee! Happy Birthday.
