What a great time we had ringing in the new year with our friends, Boone and Stephanie Smith and their two kids, Jake and Claira! Of course out night started out with the usual coconut shrimp and pineapple salsa with side dishes of: sweet & sour meatballs, veggie/fruit with dip, crackers with cheese, seven-layer dip, corn puffs, rolo pretzels, artichoke dip, and more food than we could consume. Afterwards, Dave and Boone talked hunting, I think, while the girls and young boys played Cranium. This is huge since none of us are big gamers. At midnight we toasted to the new year with Sparkling cider and the kids celebrated with party poppers, noise makers, and sparklers. Let's hope this celebration brings us all good luck and a year full of blessings! Here's to another year of memories!
