Today was the first day of school in our school district. As I was out at the buses making sure kids knew which bus to ride home I had a little student come up to me with a very serious look on his face. I did not know who he was, but he was obviously a first or second grader. He looked at me and said, "Do you know what is better than the first day of school?" Thinking something very profound was about to come out of his mouth I said, "No, what?" He grinned and said, "The last." Then he turned and ran off to his bus. Here is to a great school year!
