July continued to be busy with sports for the girls. The first week in July Olivia traveled with the high school soccer team to St. George for a week long soccer camp. I really did not like watching my girl head out so far away for a whole week! Throughout the rest of the month Olivia continued to workout with the soccer team and hit the weight room. Shaylee got to go to a volleyball camp in Malad for three days. She came home the second day a little overwhelmed because they were playing with the high school age girls and she said it was way out of her league. Of course, she said it with a smile though. July also brought family and friends for the Preston Night Rodeo. This year was extra fun because my mom drove down with all of our Thueson cousins to join us for the rodeo experience. Even though they were only able to spend one day and a quick sleep-over with us it was so great to have them down here. We also shared time with Priestley cousins the entire weekend. Rodeo week is certainly a time we all get together and play hard for three straight days.
This morning our girls headed off to girls' camp with our new ward. Olivia still isn't adjusting like we had hoped and I pray she has a good three days with the new girls. Shaylee, as always, has made the best of the situation and can not wait to get to camp! I guess for the next three days it is Taite and I hanging out and having fun.Only a few more weeks and we will all be entering the halls of school wondering where summer has gone!
