Summer is definitely the time for family get-togethers! We love the family reunions that we are able to attend every summer. This summer we started with our Thueson reunion at Lava Hot Springs. It is so fun to visit with family that I only see this one time a year. I think the best part of the reunion, besides catching up with aunts, uncles, and cousins, is seeing the fun-times of my kids interacting and getting to know my cousins' children. My kids' highlights included floating the river for the girls and swimming for hours on end for Taite. We went home hot, tired, and glad we were able to attend this year.
The next week we ventured up to Rexburg for the annual Drury reunion at Mel and Rama Drury's. Over the past few years we have really made great friends with many of the family members and it is so fun to catch up on the past year's events with them. Now that my kids are older it is much more relaxing to just go and visit while they go off with cousins and friends riding horses, playing games, swimming, and relazing themselves. This year's theme was a luau and boy was it a party!
