Yeah Taite!!!! He has worked so hard in first grade to get to the 100 point club in Accelerated Reading. In order to get there he had to read books and take tests on them. Each book he reads is worth 1/2 point in his reading level. If he gets 100% he gets the full 1/2 point, but each question you miss the points go down. Therefore, he has already read 200+ books this year in school. We are so happy that he has the love of reading. Every night he willingly sits down and reads to us. Since reading really is one of my top hobbies I love it that he loves it so much. Way to work hard and do your best Taite. We love you!
Way to go Taite! Chase loves to read too, but he would rather go outside and play instead...he he. His teacher told me he could easly reach 100 points if he was willing to give up a few recesses. I guess we will have to wait and see if he does:)
