Shaylee has had a terrific experience this year playing volleyball with Cache Valley Volleyball Club. She started practices with them the first of November once a week. It was great to watch her learn to love the game of volleyball. By the time the tournaments rolled around the end of March through the first of May she was playing fantastic! She has a great overhand serve and is all over the ball on serve receive. I am so excited that she had this experience in my favorite team sport. It was also fun that she was able to make friends with girls from other schools in Cache Valley. Shaylee is never short when it come to friends and she makes friends easily and quickly. It was fun to watch her interact with girls that she quickly became friends with. The tournaments were lots of fun because they gave us a chance to travel to the IF area 5 times in just a couple of months, which gave us the chance to see family more than we usually do this time of year. It was nice that they were able to join us for some of the tournaments to watch Shaylee play. Thanks goes out to Scott and Treva and to Charity for being such a great coach for Shaylee! GO CVVC!!!!
